Every dog has a unique personality, from the playful tilt of a head to the quiet wisdom reflected in their eyes. My aim is to create more than simply a faithful likeness—I strive to capture the character, spirit and individuality that make each dog so deeply loved. I don't simply paint what your dog looks like—I paint who they are.

As an established professional dog portrait artist based in the UK, I have been creating original portraits for collectors and dog owners for many years. Working with traditional artist-quality PanPastels, soft pastels and pastel pencils on archival papers, each portrait is individually handcrafted using a painterly blend of realism and impressionism. Rather than simply reproducing a photograph, I seek to capture the atmosphere, emotion and special moments that tell your dog's story.

Whether your companion is full of energy, quietly dignified or wonderfully mischievous, I work closely with you to select the most suitable reference photographs, ensuring the finished portrait reflects both their appearance and their unique personality.

I am honoured that my portrait 'Layla', a Golden Retriever, was selected as a finalist in the Society for All Artists Artist of the Year Awards 2022, recognising the quality and sensitivity of my work.

Over the years I have been privileged to paint a wide variety of breeds, including Labrador Retrievers, Golden Retrievers, Cocker Spaniels, Springer Spaniels, Border Collies, Dachshunds, Cockapoos, Vizslas, Irish Wolfhounds, German Shepherds, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Dobermans, Bullmastiffs, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Jack Russells, Border Terriers, Dalmatians and many others. Whatever the breed, my focus is always the same—to create a timeless portrait that celebrates the unique bond between you and your dog.
