Bonnie - Fox Red Labrador

This gorgeous Fox Red Labrador Bonnie was painted from a reference photograph chosen by the client, who particularly loved this peaceful scene of her sitting amongst long grasses beside a thumb stick.

The combination of soft sunlight and dramatic cloud formations created a wonderful atmosphere, providing the perfect setting for a portrait that captures both her striking appearance and gentle nature.

 

The rich red tones of her coat contrast beautifully with the muted landscape, while the painterly qualities of PanPastels allowed me to convey the subtle effects of light and weather across the scene.
