When this beautiful Golden Retriever came to visit, I couldn't resist reaching for my camera. Her gentle nature, calm temperament and affectionate character made an immediate impression, and I knew she would make a wonderful subject for a painting.

It was the slight tilt of her head and her soulful, expressive eyes that inspired me most. To me, they perfectly captured the loyalty, warmth and unwavering devotion for which the breed is so well known.
