Photographing Luca and Leo was an adventure from the very beginning. These beautiful blue and white Whippets were full of energy, spending much of the session racing around the garden and delighting in one enthusiastic game of zoomies after another.

I joked with their owner that we might be there for a while waiting for the perfect photograph—and then, as if on cue, they both jumped onto a garden chair and sat together for the briefest of moments. I managed to capture the image just in time before they were off again.

It was a wonderfully natural moment that perfectly reflected their elegant yet playful personalities. Creating their portrait in PanPastels allowed me to celebrate not only their graceful appearance but also the joy and vitality that made meeting them such a memorable experience.
