I was commissioned to paint this gorgeous Wire Haired Hungarian Vizsla dog from the client's photograph. I suggested that rather than just a head portrait that the painting would work well with his tennis ball and front paws too as he looks as if he's just resting before bounding off again to play fetch! The client agreed and we went ahead on that basis. My client was overjoyed with the result as it was a gift to Tyler's owner. I thoroughly enjoyed painting him and bringing out his character.
