I've just finished this chestnut horse portrait and I'm delighted that the client is very pleased with the result. It is in Pastels and Pan Pastels on Mi-Teintes Pastel Paper.
The photograph was wonderful to work courtesy of professional Equine Photographer Antonia Ellis, of ACE photography, so if you would like some amazing photographs of your horse I highly recommend her https://www.facebook.com/A.C.EquinePhotography/
If you have a Professional Photographer's photograph you would like me to paint from I will need permission in writing/email from the photographer.
Don't worry though I can work from your photos as most people can get some pretty good shots on their mobile phones for me to work from and the result will be just as good as I can change and blur backgrounds, as long as your horse is clear and in focus I can declutter backgrounds, or even leave backgrounds out - as I have done in this horse portrait.
