Lorna Lancaster Fine Art
Horse and Dog Pastel Artist
I am an established professional horse and dog artist specialising in Pastels and Pan Pastels, based in Clacton-On-Sea, Essex UK. I am an Associate Member of the Society of Equestrian Artists and have regularly exhibited in their Annual Horse in Art Exhibition. I have paintings for sale.

My style is a blend of impressionism and realism. I've owned several horses and dogs over the years and specialised and competed in dressage, so I understand the anatomy and the importance of conformation of horses, which helps me portray the subject faithfully.

" Having a passion for horses since childhood, I have a compulsive desire to paint them. I'm inspired by the graceful shapes that they create, light and shade, and I see a whole variety of colours in their coats. Having owned several horses and competed in dressage I understand the conformation and movement which gives a horse its character and gracefulness "
